Who am I?

My name’s Marc Ammann, but don’t you dare to call me “mister” or “sir”, my parents gave me a name and I like it – just “Marc”. (That also includes “Grüezi Herr Ammann”).
I work as the Lead iOS, PHP and Python Developer at Huge Inc. in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

I live in Brooklyn, New York.

Also, I have very strong (but liberal) opinions about employment, economy and morons. And sometimes, these things even come hand in hand.

Education? Well.. most of the things I talk about are self taught. But I studied Computer Science at ETH in Zurich, next to that I worked for Liip and Memonic in the past years, before I launched my own company and then flew over the big pond to join the team at HUGE.

But, in the end, I’m “mostly harmless“.

This blog is my personal (tech-)blog. I know, blogs are out of fashion these days, but I still like to talk about a few things from now and then.
So mostly, this will be about iPhone/iPad development or new product announcements.
